Born in New Brunswick and raised in PEI where she then attended the Atlantic Veterinary College - AVC and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018! Fresh out of school she decided to pursue her love of large animals. During this time she worked mainly with horses and cows. After many long nights of on-call and no kitten snuggles in sight, she decided maybe she did miss small animal. She made the switch to exclusively cats and dogs in 2020 and hasn't looked back.

When asked her favourite thing about being a veterinarian, she says: "I love seeing the human-animal bond in action and helping families during some of their toughest days".

She is an amazing cook AND baker to boot! She loves gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family. She lives at home in Aylesford with her husband Thomas, and young daughters Amelia and Isabelle. Together they have two grey tabbies, Freya and Fergus, and senior Margaery, a retired teaching beagle adopted from AVC.
